Graphic identity for French Pâté

BRAND
Discovering early in our process that both pâté packaging and biological packaging carried some strong characteristics, we tried to break the mold completely and merge both directions into a more colorful type driven solution. We wanted to break the mold of pâté pictures and ecological bio greenery. Our solution consists of strong typographic branding with a lighter color palette, and uses color categories to let the consumer visually separate flavors.
PACKAGING
We are suggesting (as this project is in early stages) that metal tins are not used at all in this project. Instead glass jars are used across the whole line for a better ecological feel. Nothing says un-biological non-vegetable pâté like metal packaging. The caps should be a non metallic color (white), and the glass could be less opaque so the the color inside doesn’t compete with the outer packaging.
