Graphic identity for French Pâté

We want you to create a graphic identity of a new brand of spreadable bio/organic products, "Fines Tartines" (i.e "Fine Spread"). The identity- and design proposals should focus on differentiation of ideas for the different recipes, a total of six flavours. Please read more... Read more about the brief

Henaff - BIO 100% breton

Through this work I wanted to bring out the quality of the produce used by Henaff to make their paté and the personal involvement in the making of the paté. But also the importance of the way it is made using the grandfathers 'savoir faire". In this day and age people are more and more curious about what they are eating and where it is from.

This new line of product is as said destined to the bio market and people who are health conscious are generally curious about where what they eat comes from and what it is precisely they are eating.
So I thought it would be interesting in showing the produce replacing the images used in previous packaging (ie: an image of the produce spread on a piece of bread)
Showing the growth of the product - care taken in bringing the best produce "la Bretagne'' can supply.

As for the logo of Fine Tartines I have taken quite a contemporary approach. Using a smooth rounded font that brings out the spreadable side that you have asked for.

I also believe this balance between a contemporary font and black and white images relates to the ''savoir faire" of HENAFF paté in this modern age using the original recipes.

THe idea is to replace the allover print on the tin with a paper lable - this is more eco friendly - less ink is used and I am sure it is cost effective.
This type of label is also very easy to apply to the jar. The only thing that would change is the size. If given the right dimensions I can take care of this easily.

I believe the paper label on the tin will also make the product look less industrial.
