Graphic identity for French Pâté
We want you to create a graphic identity of a new brand of spreadable bio/organic products, "Fines Tartines" (i.e "Fine Spread"). The identity- and design proposals should focus on differentiation of ideas for the different recipes, a total of six flavours. Please read more... Read more about the brieffines tartines /Hénaff
my whole idea started with the facts that few of us know about organic food when we hear organic we hear healthy maybe not tasty since we all imagine the food giving in a diet center or in a hospital, so what i wanted to do is to make the logo of the brand more appealing more friendly so i turned into illustrative typo...
i started with doing a comic style custom letters and then rendered those in the shape of bread and then added the knife so that the aspect of spreadable product is shown clearly i also found that i need to render the pâté on top of the knife...
after that i worked on color scheme of course i was already commited to the goldish pale yellow color of the bread and the creamy light brown of the pâté
so i turned to a nice blue gradient to serve as abackground...
since we have not been given the exact measurments layouts can be so much different but what i made sure about is that this logo is scalable nd readble i also asked a friend in paris to measure me the size of the 180 jar she siad it has a 7 cm diametre so i worked according to these measurments...
now for the prepositions about the different flavours of the brand i couldnt manage to do those because i only started yestreday because i had an ongoing project that needed to be delivered but what i suggest is to do some kind of simplified illustrations to show each categorie
example: a pork illustration that goes with all the products made of pork ham
(rilletes de cochon)
for the poultrey an illustration of a chicken
the tomato and eggplant for the vegetarien eggplant
carrot too
plus a bunch of vegetables in a basket for the farm pâté.....
thank you it was very fun to work on such lovely project i wish i had more time thank you..

thank you
