Bible Illuminated

In early 2007 an innovative and unique version of the Bible was published in Sweden, entitled “The Illuminated Bible: The Book” in two volumes: the Old Testament in the spring of ’07 and the New Testament in the fall of ’07. In Sweden 60,000 Bibles are sold annually. Remarkably, this new version of the bible sold 50,000 copies in the last two years, increasing the market for bibles by some 45% without cannibalizing normal bible sales.

Due to the success in Sweden ”Bible Illuminated: The Book, New Testament” was introduced in the United States in Fall 2008. Currently, this product is available in over 2500 retails outlets throughout United States. Since early January 2009, we have had several international publishing and licensing companies approach us in the hopes of working together.

This unique version of the Bible presents the content as never seen before in fullcolor, glossy magazine format and illustrated throughout with striking, sometimes provocative, contemporary photographs. The over 288 page is set in running text with no verses, as the Bible was originally written, inviting readers to flip through a less intimidating version of the Bible.
