Congratulations to creative member "Neuwerk" who got the Gold Medal and earned 20.000 SEK!
AND (latest news) - Henáff liked the pitch from "Paper or plastic" ("Don't panic its organic") so much they now have awarded it a Silver Medal and 15.000 SEK (appx 1635 Eur), which the creative have accepted! That's some very nice news indeed!
The client also wants to give "Honorable mentions" to "TKolb", "LittleS" and "Mngns Sthlm Design".
Team Mypitch wants to thank everyone who participated in this client brief, the quality of your ideas are fantastic and Hénaff is extremely happy with the result! So our "Honorable mentions" goes out to all of you guys, without you we are nothing!

Important update from Hénaff:
Due to certain conditions the "Medalist announcement" has been postponed, but will be revealed in the coming weeks. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Okay. Thanks!
Hi Norton, sorry but I don't think such photos exists (yet)...
Hello Emil!
Can we get a photo about the products ('s consistences, colours)? About what's inside the box. :)
Thanks!
Updated info regarding the dimensions of the glass jar and metal tin:
The client is really looking for graphic ideas at this stage, not exactly fitted labels... Therefore, they feel it's better not to limit your creativity and pitches with "mandatory dimensions/measurements for the packaging".
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you, but hope you understand the clients point of view here. We have updated the brief with this new information.
Hi again Acid Lolliepop,
we've tried to answer your questions below:
1 & 2. The main targets are the bio/organic stores and their customers: "The key idea is to create a new brand- and graphic identity specific directed towards the biological/organic stores = a sales channel and “Universe” where Hénaff has no real legitimacy as it is heavily connected to Multiple Retail..."
3. We're afraid we can't provide this information right now, but it's not of the highest importance for the brief, since it's all about creating a new graphic identity for "Fines Tartines" - regardless of future competitive brands or products in the bio/organic stores.
4. We will contact the client about this again, but can't promise to deliver any new dimensions for the different packaging. Hénaff really wants you to have an open mind in this brief and doesn't want to limit your creativity with certain measurements and/or dimensions, so our recommendation is to create your graphic identity and labels without those numbers in mind...
We understand the brief is a bit more complex this way, but at the same time, it might be nice to not have to limit your sketches and labels with specific dimensions? Anyway, we do promise to keep you informed with any new information or updates coming our way.
All the best!
Thaks a lot for answer my first question. And I have another questions. Who is the target? I mean;
1 -Who are the target audience?
2- What are the main age of the target audience?
3- What are the main products and brands that will be competing with Henaff's organic foods line?
4- What are the measures of the packaging? It would be really useful if you could let us know what the exact measurements of the containing jars are, otherwise it will be very difficult for us to elaborate perfectly fitting labels.
Hi Yarko,
yes I believe that's exactly what the client means: "Fines Tartines" is a completely new brand of bio/organic products, made of natural meats and vegetables without any chemical and/or genetical "enhancers".
Hope this will help you in your creative work! :-)
I support Acid Lolliepop's question. Although I did some research on what stands for "bio products" term, still it's not clear to me what in particular the client means. Biological (organic) does not exclude using soya and GMO components. Or am I wrong? So maybe client means that six new products made purely of 100% natural meats and vegetables without any chemical and genetical "enhancers" ?
Hi Acid Lolliepop,
yes that's correct, biological means organic and I'll update the brief with this information. Sorry if we've been a bit unclear about this...
Hi LittleS, I took the liberty of translating your question to English (so all creative members can read it... ;-) ):
"Hello, what do you mean by "make a short proposal for the "Pork Rillettes" label, another for the "Country Pate" label, etc. " Does the client just want to have an explanation as to why I have designed as I've done?"
No, it really means that the client wants you to, just shortly, create graphic ideas/proposals on the new labels for the 6 different flavours of "Fines Tartines" = create one designidea/proposal/sketch for the "Pork Rilettes" label, create another designidea/proposal/sketch for the "Country Pate" label etc until you've made suggestions of all the 6 new labels... :-)
When the brief says "biological" means "organic"?
hej. vad menas med "make a short proposal for the "Pork Rillettes" label, another for the "Country Pate" label etc." vill de bara ha en förklaring till varför jag formgett som jag gjort?
I've now updated the brief and also extended the deadline to the 27th of september, due to this new information from the client.
Hi again, got some updated information for you... :-)
1. The current Hénaff logo (under “Downloads”) is the best version available right now. However, since this brief is all about creating a new brand/graphic identity for “Fines Tartines”, implementing a large version of the Hénaff logo in your ideas is not of the highest importance. A short message declaring that "these products are made by Jean Hénaff sas”, should really be enough (please see the answer from the client below).
2. Unfortunately there’s no images available of an “empty glass jar or metal tin”.
We’ll get back to you when/if we can find out the dimensions and plans for the glass jar (180 G) and metal tin (130 G), but this is not a top priority matter either - please see the answer from the client below explaining this...
3. Latest comments from Hénaff:
“Dear Creatives, as many questions are about the vectorised logo of Hénaff, perhaps a clarification of the brief could help:
The brief for “Fines Tartines” is about the creation of a completely new brand/graphic identity, independent of the Hénaff brand (even if it is highly probable that there will be a mention of some kind that these products are “made by Jean Hénaff sas”).
The key idea is to create a new brand/graphic identity specific directed towards the biological stores = a sales channel and “Universe” where Hénaff has no real legitimacy as it is heavily connected to Multiple Retail...
Regarding the different labels, there’s no current "shapes or dimensions demands" for these. Our favorite pitch (Gold Medalist) will simply be adapted and implemented (by us) to new labels on glass jars (180 G) and metal tins (130 G).
So, please don´t let the Hénaff logotype or measurements/dimensions prevent the full potential of your ideas, it's really about unleashing your creativity and creating a graphic identity for our new, and very fine, bio products - "Fine Tartines". We hope this will help you."
Since the weekends coming up and we still need to figure out some questions (measurements etc) we've extended the deadline for this client brief with with three days (to the 23rd of september). Hope to be able to give you more information next week, all the best!
Hi Polodiaz, assuming you mean this text:
"- The labels will be produced in four-color printing"?
That means the labels will be produced in CMYK color model (process color, four color), so you can indeed use more than four colors:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CMYK_color_model
:-)
in the pitch requeriments says only four colors.. we cant make use of gradients? shadows or something that not be a solid color?
Ok, that's not what we asked for and I will contact the client asap. Must have been some sort of misunderstanding I guess... Anyway, appreciate your feedback and support, thanks! :-)
It's really a picture with clipping mask saved in Illustrator to an ”vector eps”.
Hi again, sorry to hear that, could you specify a little bit more whats wrong with it (so I can pass forward this information to the client)
Hi!
Thanks Emil for the logo and trying to get all the information we need to do the best pitches, however it is not really a vector format logo.
Hi guys, just received updated information from the client:
1. The Hénaff logo in vector format is now uploaded on the briefpage (see "Downloads")
2. There are no existing labels for the "Fines Tartines", due to these being completely new products of the Hénaff product family.
Therefore, the members of Mypitch.com are given creative freedom in designing and giving ideas on this new brand identity/brand tone - including the new labels (while of course respecting all the values of Hénaff).
For example: make a short proposal for the "Pork Rillettes" label on the glass jar, another for the "Vegetarian eggplant and tomato Pâté" label on the metal tin etc.
However, we still hope to get feedback from the client regarding the measurements/dimensions of the existing glass jar of 180 G and metal tin of 130 G, since the new labels will be implemented on these.
And we're also trying to find out if we can get images of the glass jar and metal tin without labels, we'll get back to you about that...
Hi Mngsn Sthlm Dsgn, we'll look into it and get back to you when we receive updated information from the client!
Is it possible to get the dimensions of the packaging?
Preferable would be the measures for the label to the jar and the whole tin. Or dielines.
Thank you!
Hi Rafaelsl7, good question, we will contact the client about this and get back to you asap!
Hi mates, I wondering if is possible find the glass jar and the metal jar without labels? In order to adapt the new designs
Here's feedback from the client about changement to the logo:
"The Henaff brand cannot be changed nor the logo, it is Hénaff and stays Hénaff.
However:
"Fines Tartines", being a new range of products, requires a specific identity and, although not mandatory, this may in fact include its own logo.
It should however respect a signal hierarchy as follows:
Fines Tartines are made by / comes from Hénaff.
As per brief, it should be based on "Taste, Spreadable Aspect, Biological Aspect".
Hi guys, I've contacted the client about a logo in eps/vectorised format and we'll hopefully be able to upload it to the briefpage asap!
Regarding your other questions here´s some quick answers:
1. Don't think it's possible to change/edit the current logo or create a complete new one. But we'll get back to you about this!
2. What we mean with a "Brand Identity" is: yes, your ideas could include proposals of specific fonts, colors, images and graphic elements etc. But these ideas should also be adaptable and ready to implement on the very products (= on the label of the glass jar or metal tin). Please read more about this under Pitch requirements.
Can we modify the logo colours? Could you please upload a sample tag in real size in order that we can work over it?
Hello,
when you say graphic identity, you mean colours, bagrounds, images, elements that could be used on the packaging that you give us?
Do you need a new logo as well? If no, is it possible for us to change the colours of your logo?
If you need us to use the existent logo, it would be nice to have in vector.
Thannk you.
Can we please get a vector version of the logo , Thank you.
