we've now contacted the two Gold Medalists (who gets rewarded with 15.000 SEK each) for these client briefs. Thanks again to everyone who participated and the best of luck in our future creative briefs and missions!

Hi everyone,
we've got the information that "Global Telecom Operator" have picked their two Gold Medalists for these client briefs!
However, since the client still wants to remain completely anonymous they have chosen to not reveal these Medalists or any of the other uploaded ideas, which they are fully entitled to (according to our legal terms, see link below):
http://www.mypitch.com/page/how-it-works#legal

We at Team Mypitch wants to thank the creative members who participated in this brief, you really did a great job and it's awesome to see how much creativity that flows through your veins! Also, big congrats to the Gold Medalists (which will be contacted personally) and we wish you all a great weekend!
Got a few more questions by e-mail which I'm responding to here:

Question: Is it possible to upload my pitch in another language than English?
Answer: No, we're afraid that's not possible. This client/brand is of a "international character" and works on a global scale, so all pitches that are uploaded must be in English only.

Question: When (exactly) is the deadline?
Answer: The exact deadline for these client briefs are 2010-06-15, 23:59, CET
( = Tuesday, 15th of June, one minute to midnight, Central European Time).
However, we strongly suggest you take a look at the startpage of Mypitch.com since that's where we're showing the current client briefs complete with a "timer" function which shows you exactly how many days/hours/minutes/seconds that's left until deadline. And this timer works globally so it should display the same amount of time whether you're a creative member from Sweden, USA, China or New Zealand... :-)
Hi AustinG, sure, here goes...

Challenge 1 - Positioning for the Best Mobile Broadband:
The scope is to create a campaign to position the requestor as having the best mobile broadband. The scope is to create a statement which once and for all shows that there is really only one choice.
Please have a look at the brief, and especially under the header "Background" for more information about this: http://www.mypitch.com/node/1626/

Challenge 2 - Positioning for reliable and fast Mobile Broadband:
The scope is to create a campaign to position the requestor as having reliable and fast mobile broadband for the mass market. The scope is to create a statement which will address the mass market, to be the given choice for the people. Talk about a fast mobile broadband reaching a broad population, here and now.
Please have a look at the brief, and especially under the header "Background" for more information about this: http://www.mypitch.com/node/1627/

Hope this makes things a little bit clearer and good luck with your pitch/es! :-)

Hello, can you tell me the main difference between the two pitches for this client? They're looking almost identical to me.

Thanks.

Hi Xgeronimo,
it's really good to hear you feel it this way. And just as you point out this client brief is "wide open" so you don't have to limit your creativity at all! Quite the contrary actually - let your creative mind go wild, and feel free to upload any of the ideas you can think of! They could be considered traditional, classy, odd, "flipped out", it doesn't really matter (as long as they don't offend anyone that is...) - the more the merrier! :-)
Let me know if you have any other questions or opinions about this, always glad to help.

great brief! it's not hard to pitch for a secret client ... in fact i see it as an advantage... saves from getting bogged down by specifics and numbers... the absence of which might upset an accountant... but truly liberating for creative spirit :)

Hi Trial and Error.
Unfortunately, we can not clarify or elaborate any more of the background, strategy, positioning or competition for this anonymous client.
They have made a specific request to remain anonymous and due to certain strategic competitive reasons, Team Mypitch have accepted this request.
So, I'm afraid I can only repeat what Wigge wrote yesterday:
"The outcome should be on idea basis, not complete production."
which I hope will ease the challenges for our creative members.
And remember, the awards of these client briefs are really nice (15.000 SEK / brief, so you can actually earn a total of 30.000 SEK = appx. 3832 USD = appx. 3136 EUR, if you deliver "Gold Medal ideas" for both challenges).

Oh, almost forgot to answer creative member Alexzixoo question below:
"What is the area of operation of the secret client - is the campaign supposed to work globally? Or limited to Europe or some other geographic area?
Answer: The choice is completely yours, if you want to upload ideas for a global campaign = excellent!
If you rather want to upload ideas for an european campaign = that's just as good!
Feel free to make your own choices and don't forget to unleash your creativity, these challenges doesn't require anything else than a totally free and creative mind! (well, almost, a computer could help a little bit too, I guess...) ;-)

hi, i agree with other creatives, its pretty hard to pitch for a secret client, can't you reveal anything more about them?

Hi Alexixoo

Thank´s for your question.
I´ve talked to the client and they really want new ideas and right now they dont want in depth analysis and therefore the brief is so wide open. They don´t want to limit your creativity and rather want a totally free mind of ideas.

Challenge 1
The scope is to create a statement which once and for all shows that there is really only one choice.

Challenge 2
The scope is to create a statement which will address the mass market, to be the given choice for the people. Talk about a fast mobile broadband reaching a broad population, here and now

The outcome should be on idea basis, not complete production.

I hope this will ease your challenge
Good luck!

It is a bit tricky to come up with a positioning, if you neither know your client nor the competition, not knowing what to differentiate from is quite a challenge...and doesn't really allow for an in-depth analysis.

What is the area of operation of the secret client - is the campaign supposed to work globally? Or limited to Europe or some other geographic area?

Thanks for some more background.

To clarify what deliverables the client would like for the brief "Positioning for Mobile Broadband, Challenge 1 & 2"

The client says;
"The campaign shall work in all media, but expected outcome in this scope is a TV manuscript and story board, print ad, outdoor poster and web banner."

So come on with a world of ideas
Good luck!

Hi Owe

Emil is on vaccation. But I have adressed the question to the client and will get back to You ASAP

Hi Emil!

It seems like the forth award has not yet taken place and the client is trying to plan for both scenarios.

It's very difficult to come up with solutions without knowing what the current campaigns are for both the client and the competitors.

From what I understand they are shouting that they are the best in speed and coverage and using this award and other awards to back up their positioning.

Could we get some sort of a brief on the statements that the client and the competitors have been using so far?
