Hi Pen8525,
I'm actually on vacation right now, but since I'm the "tech guy" from Team Mypitch who's got the most knowledge of this function, I'm going to give you a quick answer (and maybe we can discuss this more after the 5th of august when I'm "back in action" at the office)? :-)
Anyway, the "like/upvote/thumb up" button works accordingly to this:
1. You have to be a registered member and properly logged in to be able to give an "upvote" to a pitch.
2. You can only give one upvote per pitch - but you can undo this action by
clicking on "Dislike" (if you regret giving the upvote...)
3. We have chosen not to display the creative alias/username behind the upvotes
(but you can, of course, use the comment field describing the reason for your upvote if you like... that's up to you)
Also, there is no "downvote or thumbs down" choice on Mypitch.com (similar to Facebook), so if you don't like a certain pitch, simply just don't give it an upvote... ;-)
By the way, to see the pitches with the highest amount of upvotes, click here:

Hope this makes things a little bit clearer, talk to you again after the 5th of august! :-)
I would like to know how the likes and dislikes work. I have seen some people have a like. Who likes it? How do you say you like it? And why are the dislikes also a thumb up? Please explain.
Thank you "Rock333", glad to have you aboard Mypitch! :-)
